We believe it is the shared responsibility of our faith community to nurture young and old in such a way that they grow to be mature persons of faith.  Our Sunday School teaching team strives to mentor learners so that they understand the Christian tradition with its roots in Scripture; discover real-life Christian ethics; and set out on their own unique faith journeys as God-loving, Spirit-led disciples of Christ.  It is our aspiration to welcome and love all Sunday School participants as God welcomes and loves us.

We learn and explore Biblical stories with many hands-on creative activities for the children, using Seasons of the Spirit curriculum as a guide. 

We will offer three classes of Sunday school this year, with children exiting worship following Children's Time.

Preschool through first-grade meet in the nursery.

Second and third grades meet in the classroom at the end of the Sunday school wing.

Fourth through seventh grades meet in the Singer Room.

In addition, on the third Sunday of each month, eighth through twelfth grade students will meet in Dee's office following the sermon for check-in and discussion with an adult facilitator.

The first Sunday of each month is our intergenerational worship service; we encourage all youngsters to remain in the sanctuary with their family for the complete service.  Of course, though, childcare is available for the very young or very restless.  

Childcare is available in the nursery every week.

Please be sure to fill out and turn in a Sunday School Registration to your child's Sunday school teacher or to the church office. Forms are available at the Sunday school bulletin board in the Fellowship Hall.
