Worship & Sunday School
Jan 13 @ 9:30 am – 10:30 am

Join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 9:30. The first Sunday is when we observe Holy Communion, and it is intergenerational (children remain in the sanctuary throughout the service; no Sunday School classes, though we often have a large-group activity during sermon time.

We have two Sunday School classes: one for younger (pre-school-3rd grade) and one for older children(4th-7th grade). We are using the UCC’s Christian Practices curriculum during this school year.

Childcare is available in the nursery every week.

Youth Group @ fellowship hall and kitchen
Jan 13 @ 11:15 am – 12:45 pm

The EHCC Youth Group will meet most Sundays from 11:15am-12:45pm under the leadership of Rachel Shinabarger.  Parents have agreed to bring snacks to supplement the coffee hour snacks, using a shared EHCC Youth Google calendar to coordinate. (Please contact Dee if you need help connecting there.) Rachel will generally have the last Sunday of the month off as part of her internship agreement.  At this time we  are planning on encouraging youth to participate in Super Suppers on those last Sundays of the month, helping with dessert (or other) food donations and helping with hospitality and cleanup.  EHCC is happy to sign papers to designate this service as community service hours for graduation requirements.  In addition to these regular meetings, the pastoral and parent support team is hoping to offer an occasional fellowship event—outings to Seattle or elsewhere for fun.  It’s shaping up to be a great year of togetherness for our beloved junior and senior high youth!  Please contact Dee if you have questions or concerns.
